Granita di limone


Lemon granita is a quick and easy summer dessert to prepare to bring home all the goodness and freshness of Sicilian lemons.
Water: 500ml

Sugar: 400 gr

Lemons: 6

Boil the water, meanwhile squeeze the lemons, removing the seeds. When the water boils, add the sugar and boil for about 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and let it cool. Add the lemon juice, mix well and place everything in an airtight container in the freezer for 24 hours. Break the ice and blend for a few minutes to melt the ice and give the granita creaminess. Put it back in the freezer and after a few hours blend everything again. Place the granita in the freezer for another 1 hour before serving.

We recommend accompanying the granita with a brioche.
